I call Anela my "Bosnian daughter". She is from Sarajevo, Bosnia. We met her three years ago through an international cultural exchange program and she has been living with us since that time. We sponsored her with a student visa and we pay for her to attend college
|When she was only 9 years old, she lost her mother in the war. She has lived through hardship and challenging living conditions. Because of her life experiences, she appreciates everything in life. She has been a great example for our children. She has been able to teach us and our children an appreciation for the things that we have in our lives.|
She is an amazing girl! My kids call her "big Sister", she calls me "Mama", she is just like a daughter to me and we are so blessed to have her as part of our family.
